Killed 10 Mice Within First 24 Hours

We have a terrible mouse infestation and got this as a last hail mary to get it under control. Loud sound? it's a pretty loud buzzing sound that lasts about 30 long seconds. I could hear it across two rooms with the doors open.Multiple Mice? Our mice are cannibals, apparently, and will crawl into the trap to eat the dead ones if I don't get it fast enough.

Six rats and counting….

The OWLTRA OW-7 in-/Outdoor Electric Rodent Trap works well. Our first few nights with the trap,using peanut butter or cheese as bait,were not successful. I then set the trap and had a large rat in it the next morning. Each day I would reset it with the sunflower seeds and each day there would be a smaller "teen rat" in it in the morning. Up to six so far.

Very easy to use!

So far we have caught two rats in a week. They are not gross or injured. They just look like they are asleep. We make sure to leave the rat in the trap for at least half a day before emptying to make sure it's dead. This might be excessive but I'd rather be sure!Due to the way the trap works,it stays clean on the inside so there's nothing to "clean off". Just open it, put in more peanut butter,put the top back on,and that's it.

Easy to set-up. Every year, we have rats explore our property looking for a winter home. Not happening. I have pets so I have to be very careful with poisons. Caught a rat in a snap trap earlier in the week but the trap was not reusable after (I'll spare you the details) I put out additional snap traps but mice were able to take the bait without triggering the traps. I set this new electric trap out, yesterday, in the rain, along the side of my shed. It has killed 2 mice and a rat in 24 hours. You do need to reset the trap after each kill, but the trap is easy to empty and there is no mess. A light comes on and the trap will "beep" when it needs to be reset.

Works great even in the rain

This trap works well, kills even the largest field mice and is easy to use. The electronics are well protected from the rain. Be sure to clean the trigger beam posts after each kill. I would recommend this unit highly. The flashing light and beeper will report so you know you have a kill. It is also a much lower price point than most other outdoor , rain proof mouse traps.
